  • Who is 'the Ghost in Winterfell'? - Quora

I personally have a theory. Come to think of it: * There must always be a Stark on Winterfell * Rickon and Bran knew they were the only ones. Bran had to go north. * Rickon knows the Crypts very well, and it's a hell of a place to hide * Osha has ...

  • The Hooded Man of Winterfell (Spoilers ADWD) : asoiaf

In conclusion, the Hooded Man is not the killer, that's still the Manderly's. Theon simply needed to become a lord again and his subconscious mind summons up the Hooded Man to do this. This is why Theon truly becomes Theon again. He suddenly has courage and doesn't want to ever see the bastard again. Reek has died, and Theon has returned.

  • What are the most prominent theories about 'The Ghost of ...

Potential book spoilers OK, first off: In the book, the spearwives killed the Bolton/Frey men and Big Walder killed Little Walder. The killings aren't really (or shouldn't be) that big of a mystery. Unless you're looking for explicit closure (wh...

As the title says, I am reading A Song of Ice and Fire for the very first time. I have never watched the HBO show either, and all I know about the series is from internet pop culture, and my brother who would tell me random details from the books as he read them, 6 or 7 years ago.

  • asoiaf theories | ladygwynhyfvar

In conclusion, Harwin as the hooded man makes thematic sense and is well supported by the text, but it appears that it's probably best to look elsewhere for the perpetrators of the mysterious deaths that take place in Winterfell as tensions rise to the boiling point and Roose Bolton commands a snowy march to meet Stannis Baratheon in battle.

  • ASOIAF | Meditations on A Song of Ice and Fire

And Seven Times Kill Man! has probably the largest influence on A Song of Ice and Fire of any of Martin's other works. First published in Analog in 1975, it tells the story of a race of primitive religious pacifists who are largely annihilated by a cult of warlike humans who seek to colonize their planet.

  • Crackpot ASOIAF Theories SPOILERS | TigerDroppings.com

RE: Theon and the Hooded Man I think it's possible that it could be Theon seeing himself. But the one thing that doesn't past the smell test with that is the Hooded Man calls him a Kinslayer. We know that Theon didn't slay his "kin" Bran or Rickon. So that leads me to believe the Hooded Man is either a Stark or Stark supporter.

  • (Spoilers ADWD) Who is the Hooded Man at Winterfell? Also ...

Hooded man is likely Theon Durden. The spearwives admitted to all the killings, but denied killing Little Walder. Note that when the boy's corpse is brought in, it's frozen, yet Big Walder has fresh unfrozen blood on himself. We know he was getting concerned about Little Walder, who was ramsay's squire and was becoming more and more like him.

Feb 26, 2013· Well your memory seems pretty good to me. It is definitely better than mine. I have the kindle version - a search for "Harwin" in Dance shows in chapter 51: "They were all dead now.Jory, old Ser Rodrik, Lord Eddard, Harwin and Hullen, Cayn and Desmond and Fat Tom, Alyn with his dreams of knighthood, Mikken who had given him his first real sword.

  • (Spoilers All) The hooded man in Winterfell is... : asoiaf

Jumping ahead to ADwD, the hooded man sees Theon and calls him "Theon Turncloak. Theon Kinslayer." To me, this implies a couple of things. The person identifying Theon views Theon as a traitor to Robb's cause and as someone who viewed Bran and Rickon as Theon's kin. Many Winterfell men could hold this set of beliefs, and Hallis is one of them.

Jan 24, 2013· The man looked, and laughed. "I leave you to him, then." My Thoughts on the Hooded Man Identity Theories: *Because Theon wonders if the HM is the killer in Winterfell when he speaks with him and GRRM took the time to include that in Theon's thoughts, I cannot seem to decide if the HM is also the killer. Therefore, I've included the murders as ...

  • The Hooded Man in Winterfell (Spoilers Extended) : asoiaf

The Hooded man in Winterfell is Robett Glover because there is no one in the north who is desperate enough to enter a hostile area to contact Mance and convince him to kidnap Theon along with fArya (yes that right, Mance doesn't need Theon to escape Winterfell) except Robett.

Theon wonders if the hooded man was the one who killed several men at arms at Winterfell. We know that he isn't though. The murders at Winterfell were performed by Mance Rayder and his spearwives. The only way he could be the killer is if he were Mance Rayder. Now we're unsure if Theon recognizes the man.

Feb 23, 2013· The "Ghost in Winterfell" chapter where the Hooded Man appears before is this. So it's reasonable to think that the HM can't be anyone mentioned in this list or Theon would not think them dead. That definitely rules out Harwin as the HM.

Jun 22, 2014· I strongly doubt that the Boltons will do well at all in the coming battle. Another part of their army will refuse to fight part of Stannis' army.
